ABOUT US
Established in 1984, Kalairani Natya Salai
has been serving the community untiringly for decades. Hundreds professionally have been trained in this school, where Indian culture has always been greatly appreciated and enhanced.
It enjoys a Non-Profit – 501 (c)3 status , with a track record of innumerable free benefit
performances. We are classified as a non-profit tax-exempt organization.
The founder, Guru Rani has choreographed and staged 500+ classical
dances with at least a hundred performances each year. From flag-hoisting to
parades, from weddings to tournaments, from conference to festivals – a wide
variety of performances.
Traditional arangetrams held every year. Each arangetram is made unique with new items. We are proud to say that we are the only dance school that stages a full margam to Christian themes. Guru Rani teaches a credit course in Indian dance at George Mason University (Fall 2007) KNS is a Member of the International Dance Council, Greece/France. KNS is
also a Dance Center for Degree Courses
affiliated with University in South India.
